Heritage repair and redecoration to this 16th century grade 1 listed cottage in West Meon, Hampshire. Wattle and daub panels and external solid walls were made good. Decorations carried out using Earthborn Clay paint. Previously plastered brick chimney stack (now exposed) were sealed with a microporous sealer to prevent decay and mortar dusting.

Nice work!
Doing something similar in Normandy with a C13 house … what colour was the claypaint in the panelling, it looks really warm?
Hi Nick,
Thanks. We done this job three or four years ago but if I remember rightly I think it was a colour called ‘straw’.
